SiteGrid, our three phase hybrid power system offers a convenient and efficient method of delivering power to any construction environment without a grid connection. SiteGrid utilises generator power, and renewables if available, to store power in a sophisticated battery bank with a dedicated monitoring & control system, delivering silent power from the battery when needed. Monitoring and Control

Victron VRM

Full online monitoring and control is available via the Victron VRM website. This shows all relevant parameter and historic data including battery capacity, power usage and solar input along with many other selectable parameters. The user can also set alarms to ensure that the whole system operates at its optimum performance at all times.


Silent Nights

Keeping noise levels on construction sites to a minimum at night is a requirement in most residential and built up areas. However, during these hours there is still a requirement for power – lighting, security, dry roomings etc. SiteGrid helps balance this issue by supplying low loads at night via the battery bank, meaning the generator never needs to run. Great for both noise levels and emissions.


Energy Management Unit (EMU)

SiteGrid features an optional Energy Management Unit (EMU) to bring more sophisticated control for sites with a variety of power requirements. The EMU allows six separate loads to be fed from the unit and programmed with their own unique schedules. For example – one feed could be for security lighting that is triggered by the in-built light sensor, another could be for the drying cabin that does not need to be heated during Saturday and Sunday. The EMU system allows businesses to further reduce their emissions by using intelligent power planning, in addition to reducing fuel costs and generator noise.

Hybrid Power Improving Air Quality

An increasing concern in built up areas and construction sites are the particulate and NOx emissions from diesel generators. Our hybrid power units reduce the run time of generators substantially – therefore cutting down these emissions. Whilst a hybrid system does not stop generator use completely, they make a significant difference to the local air quality, which is a benefit for both onsite staff welfare and local residents.

EasyGrid - Hybrid power units for off grid environments

Our EasyGrid range brings off grid power solutions to homes and businesses without a mains grid connection at a reasonable cost. Rather than having to source separate components and have a bespoke system designed, our EasyGrid series offers a pre-configured, self-contained unit built from durable, high quality components; fully tested and ready to install. The EasyGrid enclosures are made from powder coated steel; allowing them to be installed outside or in an out building depending on requirements. Suitable for installation worldwide the EasyGrid range addresses off grid power needs and can be installed by a competent local electrician.


How does it work?

Our EasyGrid hybrid units connect to your solar array, they also have a connection for a generator. The EasyGrid supply utilises energy from the solar array to charge the batteries, where energy will be stored until needed. The array then tops up the batteries as the power is used. The system can also support additional loads to those listed when connected to a generator. In addition, if a generator is connected and the batteries are depleted and no solar power is available, the system will send a start signal to the generator to provide power and charge the batteries.

Connecting a Solar Array to EasyGrid 

Sizing your solar array correctly is vital in getting the most effective renewable energy into your EasyGrid unit. On the datasheets you will find full details on the options available to you and how you can connect solar panels to optimise your power for peak loads.

We are able to supply the necessary solar panel kit, expansion kits, cables and connectors for your project. Please ask for prices and we can include this with your quotation.


SOLAR KIT – 1 String (5 Panels)

5 x 275W panels in series gives a maximum open circuit voltage of approx 190V.


SOLAR EXPANSION KIT  – 1 String (5 Panels)

Additional strings of 5 x 275W solar panels can be connected via a solar string combiner box.


Up to four Solar Expansion Kits can be fitted for a total of 5 strings of 5 (275W) panels. Giving up to 6.8kW of peak solar power.

Connecting a Generator

If you are looking at connecting a generator to one of the EasyGrid range we would recommend sizing of a 2kVA – 100kVA (dependent on EasyGrid unit) which will allow you to run additional loads. We are able to supply a generator with your EasyGrid if required. Please ask for prices and we can include this with your quotation.


Why use an EasyGrid system rather than a generator alone?

Whilst you can use a stand alone generator to provide your power for an off grid property or project it is a hugely inefficient system. You will spend large amounts on fuel and servicing costs which are often the hidden costs of a new project, with owners often not being aware of the costs they will be incurring.

With a correctly specified EasyGrid system the EasyGrid unit could pay for itself within 12 months of installation compared to a stand alone generator providing your off grid power. And those savings will continue year on year.

Connecting to an Unreliable Grid

For our international customers we are able to add an additional connection point for connecting the EasyGrid 5000 and 10,000 units to an unreliable local grid connection. This allows users to make use of grid power when it is available and then to automatically switch to the EasyGrid supply during power cuts. This additional option is viable if you are installing the unit in an area with frequent daily power outages and you require continuous power. Please ask us and we can include this option with your quotation.


Monitoring and Control

Victron Color Control

The EasyGrid range incorporates a Victron Color Control as standard. This control gives each EasyGrid a great functionality.

Color Control enables full online monitoring via the Victron VRM website (internet connection required). This shows all relevant parameter and historic data including battery capacity, power usage and solar input along with many other selectable parameters. The owner can also set alarms to ensure that the whole system operates at its optimum performance at all times.  

The Victron Color Control also comes with enhanced generator control, allowing full control and monitoring of your off grid system. Owners will be able to see:

  • Generator state: Indicates why the generator is running.
  • Runtime: Generator runtime since last start.
  • Total run time: Accumulated running time since the first start.
  • Time to next test run: When the test run condition is enabled this item shows the time remaining to the next test run.
  • Daily runtime: Page with the running times of last 30 days.

In addition the generator can be set to run based on the conditions such as AC load and state of charge of batteries to ensure that those living and working off grid are never without power


Silent Nights

For those working and living off grid there are additional features the control system offers which can enhance their environment - quiet periods can be set which will reduce the chance of the generator starting - particularly at night.  Most importantly period test runs can be set which ensures that when you need the generator - it will start!

Installation, Warranty and Service

The EasyGrid series is designed to be a plug and play solution for off grid customers. They can be installed by a competent, local electrician. We have a YouTube guide to help them plus each unit is supplied with a straightforward installation guide. For customers who wish us to install and commission an EasyGrid System please speak to us to include it in your quotation.

The unit is covered by our own one year warranty, and the Victron power electronics are covered with a 5 year limited warranty.

VariPower Marine
Variable Speed DC Generator

A unique variable speed DC marine generator; operating between 900 and 2000 rpm dependant on loads. The ability to run at varying levels means the unit intelligently adjusts its speed depending on the loads demanding power, therefore reducing running costs, emissions & noise. At 900 rpm the generator runs with incredibly low noise levels.

The unit is substantially smaller than a traditional generator of the same power capacity so will reduce space used on board a vessel. VariPower Marine will be available Q2 2017 with an optional sound enclosure.

Our lithium ion battery offers amazing power capacity for on board facilities. The 10kW unit comes as one complete unit with protection contactor, battery management system and control contacts, so there is no requirement to buy ancillary parts.

Designed for the marine market the unit offers a simple installation and configuration which reduces labour costs for boat builders / owners. In addition the unit is scalable – so energy storage can be built up with units in parallel. This allows larger vessels to take advantage of lithium batteries as part of a larger hybrid system.

VariPower - Variable speed hybrid power system

VariPower is a variable speed generator combined with a highly efficient battery bank. Developed, designed and built in the UK, the range includes the VariPower 10 and 20. Both provide transportable, instant power for temporary, back-up and off grid situations in any environment.

Unlike traditional generators which only run at one speed whatever the load demands, the variable speed generator is flexible and can run at any level between 900 and 2000 rpms; providing just enough power for the load and to charge/top up the batteries without any waste.

When demands are low the generator will run at just 900 rpm, providing enough power for the load very quietly and using less fuel. For times when a higher load is demanded the generator can move up in speed to anything up to 2000rpm; delivering higher amounts of power, quickly and efficiently.

The batteries within each unit act as an energy storage system; so at times of very low demand, or when completely silent power is required the batteries alone can run the load, the generator doesn’t need to start at all.

The built in intelligence of the system means the VariPower provides power in the most efficient way possible, with this functionality users can operate in the same way as a grid connection, no manual intervention is required.

Control Panel

Perkins Engine

VariPower uses the Perkins 403D-11G ElectropaK - a powerful but quiet 1.1 litre naturally aspirated 3 cylinder compact engine designed to meet EU Stage IIIA/U.S. EPA Tier 4 interim emissions standards.

The 3 cylinder engine is designed to meet power generation needs in both unregulated territories where extreme conditions are likely, and higher regulated territories with more stringent emissions standards.

It was selected for the VariPower due to its power density, durability and fuel efficiency. The quiet operation makes it an excellent option as part of a unit designed to reduce noise to a minimum.

Energy Solutions offer a range of electrical design and build services.

We will carry out the entire electrical design including load analysis for your project. This will generate a detailed set of drawings, bills of materials, cable schedules and any custom system design that may be required.

We design and build AC and DC electrical panels. This can involve generator sets in parallel (isochronous or droop), load management and monitoring. If required we can build remote monitoring and control panels.

We provide PLC Programming for alarms and other systems. Large systems have complex alarm, monitoring and control requirements, PLC control allows these needs to be met in a flexible and upgradable way.

The AGM range has very low internal resistance making them particularly suitable for high current discharge applications such as for inverters, thrusters and winches as well as engine starting. 

The GEL model range offer best deep cycle durability and overall longer life. The use of high purity materials and lead calcium grids ensure that for both AGM and GEL products have particulary low self discharge so that they will not go flat during long periods without charge. Both ranges are supplied with M8 drilled, flat copper terminals ensuring best possible connection contact and eliminating the need for battery terminals. The batteries are compliant with both CE and UL specifications in ABS fireproof containers and come with Victron's 2 year world-wide warranty.



Telecom Batteries

Designed for telecom applications; excellent “floor space savers” for marine and vehicle applications.

The deep cycle AGM telecom series has been designed for use in telecom systems. With front access terminals and small footprint, the batteries are ideal for racked systems. Similarly, these batteries can help solve limited floor space and access problems on board boats and vehicles. 

AGM technology.
AGM stands for Absorbent Glass Mat. In these batteries the electrolyte is absorbed into a glass-fibre mat between the plates by capillary action. 

Low self-discharge. 
Because of the use of lead calcium grids and high purity materials, Victron VRLA batteries can be stored during long periods of time without recharge. The rate of self-discharge is less than 2% per month at 20°C. The self discharge doubles for every increase in temperature with 10°C. 

Low internal resistance. 
Accepts very high charge and discharge rates High cyclic life capability More than 500 cycles at 50% depth of discharge.



OPzS Batteries

Long life flooded tubular plate batteries

Design life: >20 years at 20ºC, >10 years at 30ºC, >5 years at 40ºC. Cycling expectancy of up to 1500 cycles at 80% depth of discharge. Manufactured according to DIN 40736, EN 60896 and IEC 896-1. Low maintenance Under normal operating conditions and 20ºC, distilled water has to be added every 2 – 3 years.

Dry-charged or ready for use electrolyte filled.

The batteries are available filled with electrolyte or dry-charged (for long term stocking, container transport or air transport). Dry charged batteries have to be filled with diluted sulphuric acid (density 1,24kg/l @ 20ºC). The electrolyte may be stronger for cold- or weaker for hot climates.



Lithium battery 24V 180Ah

The market for battery systems is developing rapidly. There is a growing demand for efficient batteries with a large energy density. Victron Energy has a suitable response for this demand: the Victron Lithium-ion battery system. This is comprised of a very modern battery with an advanced control- and security system; the so-called Battery Management System (BMS). The BMS controls the charging and discharging, immediately takes action when certain (critical) values are exceeded and safeguards an efficient energy-transfer.

Peak Power Pack

The Peak Power Pack is a complete substitute for heavy lead acid batteries in applications where high currents occur for short time. Being primarily meant for caravan movers, it is equipped with a built in charger allowing charging from the car electrical system during the travel with the caravan. This way the pack will be fully charged upon arrival to the camping site. If necessary, the charging is possible using the supplied adapter via a grid outlet. Charging from a solar panel is also possible.

Lynx Ion + Shunt 350/600

The Lynx Ion is the battery management system (BMS) that controls the 24V/180Ah Lithium Ion batteries. It contains the 350A safety contactor, and controls the cell-balancing, charging and discharging of the system. The Lynx Ion will protect the battery pack from both overcharging and depletion.



VE.Net Blue Power Panel GX

The Blue Power Panel GX is the same as the Blue Power Panel 2, but with a new design. An extra advantage of this panel is the easy mounting: the included mounting frame allows the user to mount the panel from either front or back side. Due to the mounting frame, the mounting holes will no longer be in sight.

The body of the GX panel is made of plastic, which makes the panel lighter and adds a modern look to the panel.



BMV-700 series

The BMV-700 is our newest high precision battery monitor. The essential function of a battery monitor is to calculate ampere-hours consumed and the state of charge of a battery. Ampere-hours consumed are calculated by integrating the current flowing in or out of the battery.



BMV-600S series

The BMV-600S and BMV-602S are high precision battery monitors. The essential function of a battery monitor is to calculate ampere-hours consumed and the state of charge of a battery. Ampere-hours consumed are calculated by integrating the current flowing in or out of the battery.

  • Highest resolution: 10mA (0,01A) with 500A shunt.
  • Lowest current consumption: 1mA.
  • Easiest to wire: the BMV-600 comes with shunt, 10 meter RJ 12 UTP cable and 2 meter battery cable with fuse. No other components needed.
  • Easiest to install: separate front bezel for square or round appearance; ring for rear mounting and screws for front mounting.

The BMV-602S has a second voltage measurement input. This input can for example be used to measure the voltage of a starter battery.



Battery Balancer

The Battery Balancer equalizes the state of charge of two series connected 12 V batteries, or of several parallel strings of series connected batteries.
When the charge voltage of a 24 V battery system increases to more than 27 V, the Battery Balancer will turn on and compare the voltage over the two series connected batteries. The Battery Balancer will draw a current of up to 1 A from the battery (or parallel connected batteries) with the highest voltage. The resulting charge current differential will ensure that all batteries will converge to the same state of charge.

If needed, several balancers can be paralleled.
A 48 V battery bank can be balanced with three Battery Balancers.

While the step-up and step-down functions are fairly straightforward, split phase output balancing may require some more attention.

Unique PowerAssist feature.
The MultiPlus will prevent overload of a limited AC source. First, battery charging will automatically be reduced when otherwise an overload would occur. The second level will boost the output of a generator or shore side supply with power taken from the battery.

Uninterrupted AC power (UPS function).
In the event of a grid failure or shore or generator power being disconnected, the inverter within the Multi is automatically activated and takes over the supply to the connected loads. This happens so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption. 

Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel operation.

Two AC inputs with integrated transfer switch.
The Quattro can be connected to two independent AC sources, for example shore-side power and a generator, or two generators. The Quattro will automatically connect to the active source.

Two AC Outputs.
The main output has no-break functionality. In the event of a grid failure, or shore or generator power being disconnected, the Quattro takes over the supply to the connected loads. This happens so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption. The second output is live only when AC is available on one of the inputs of the Quattro. Loads that should not discharge the battery, such as air-conditioning or a water heater can be connected to this output.

ES - Marine Isolation Transformers

ES Marine Hull Isolation Transformers    

Hull isolation transformers are the only way to completely eliminate the risk of galvanic corrosion between the ships hull and other metal objects (other ships, pilings etc.).

The problem is caused by an earth loop forming and current flowing through the earth wire on the shore supply. The problems occurs in all boats, although steel & aluminium boats are particularly susceptible. It is important to get advice from a suitably qualified marine surveyor or corrosion specialist before installing shorepower.

The isolation transformer eliminates any electrical continuity between shorepower and the ship. The shorepower is fed to the primary side of the transformer and the ship is connected to the output side (secondary).

Our standard transformer range covers 10, 16, 32, 50, 63 & 100 amp single phase shore capacities at 230v. We offer custom units in single phase, three phase to three phase and three phase to single phase.

In addition to these fixed ratio transformers (normally 1:1) we supply voltage converting transformers. Smaller transformers are offered that will boost 115 volts to 230 volts or visa versa. These are available as manually configured or auto changing.

For USA spec boats we offer a replacement for the Charles Industries Iso-Boost transformer. This has two input voltage ranges at 208 volt and 240 volt nominal to allow a boat to connect to 2 legs of a 208 volt three phase supply in the USA or to a 240 volt split phase supply. The transformer automatically selects the appropriate input. This can also be helpful if your 240 volt supply is weak (for instance if you are at the end of the dock).

USA Spec Boats

Shore power in the USA is available in a number of forms.

For small craft you may be offered a 110 volt hook up. This normally is limited to 30 amps of less (3.3 kW). For smaller craft we offer transformers that can be reconfigured in the following ways - 115/115, 115/230, 230/115, 230/230.

For larger, single phase, boats you are normally offered a 'split phase' supply. This consists of two legs of 120 volts and a neutral (which we don't use). The two legs of 120 volts are 180 degrees apart which, in effect, means that they will give you a 240 volt single phase supply. For these applications we offer transformers with a 'European' output (230 volt live and neutral) and a 'USA' output (two legs of 120 volt and a neutral - also referred to as a 120-0-120 or a 120 / 240 type supply. A 240 volt supply is normally available at either 50 amps (12 kW) or 100 amps (24 kW).

For larger craft still you will be offered a three phase supply. Lower power supplies are available at 208 volts and super yacht berths are offered at 440 volt.

For single phase boats we offer a boosting transformer that will take two legs of 208 and boost to 240 volts. We can also build custom transformers that take a three phase supply and output single phase.

We can also supply 3 phase to 3 phase transformers with the input and output voltages that you require.


European Cruising

An isolation transformer can also allow ‘English‘ wired boats to be used on continental shorepower supplies.

Most European countries have a floating neutral where the English system bonds the neutral to earth. This causes polarity problems abroad.

It also means that with single pole switches and circuit breakers there will always be voltage in through the neutral. The hull isolation transformer ‘converts‘ a floating neutral input into an earth bonded output.

The transformer will also ensure that the output polarity is always correct regardless of input polarity.


Standard Insulation

The standard transformer is protected by being immersed in a resin bath. This is done under a vacuum to ensure total coverage. This protects the transformer from air borne moisture and normal corrosion.


Double Dipped Insulation Option

In addition to the standard insulation the transformer receives a second water proof coating. The take off ends of the coil windings are also sealed to prevent water ingress. This additional insulation is suited to transformers that maybe subjected to water contact.


Soft Start

When first connected to the shore supply the hull isolation transformer will draw a very high initial current. This can often trip the shore supply circuit breaker. Energy Solutions are able to install a soft start on the input of the transformer to greatly reduce the inrush current.

Input Configuration

Most of the smaller, single phase, transformer range is offered with a dual wound primary. This allows the transformer to be connected to both 110 volt and 230 volt shore power supplies.

Most three phase transformers are supplied as a Delta input (no neutral connected).


Output Configuration

The output configuration of the transformer can be requested as:

  • 230 volt for European systems
  • 240/120 volt for American systems
  • 208 volts three phase for USA spec boats
  • 400 volts three phase for Europeans spec boats

Most of the Energy Solutions range of marine isolation transformers have dual input voltages (120 and 240 volt). This is of particular use on long distance cruising boats that may want to use 110 volt supplies in Caribbean, USA Etc.

They also help to protect swimmers against the risk of electrocution. This is a particular risk on fresh water moorings.

Sizing generators for large sailing and motor yachts is a difficult job. Large variations in on board power requirements between different seasons, different times of day, and periods with and without guests make for substantial power requirement swings.

Often, despite the very best engineering practice, the yacht will be operating the generators lightly loaded. To address this problem the Energy Solutions have developed the ES LoadBank to be used with generators that are running lightly loaded. The 2015 model, ES LoadBank v4, combines heater tank, switch gear and expansion tank all in the same enclosure, reducing the footprint required to install the LoadBank. The PLC has also been upgraded which allows direct interfacing with a ship's system for control and monitoring. There is also a remote touchscreen control and monitoring panel, both options give flexibility for new builds and retrofits.

Maximising generator life

In order to get the maximum life expectancy from a generator it should run at sufficient load to ensure clean running. When a generator runs under capacity it's working life is cut short and the generator runs with soot emissions. The ES LoadBank is an advanced generator loading system that ensures that a sufficient base load is applied to the generator at all times. It uses electrical heaters as a load and this heat is released via heat exchangers.

User programmable

The ES LoadBank can be user programmed with generator size and target load. This allows the LoadBank to apply the correct amount of load, per phase, to achieve your target loading.

The LoadBank will work with any brand of generator. Larger requirements can be met by specifying multiple LoadBanks which, via software settings, will work as a master and slave(s) arrangement.

Isolation transformers provide galvanic isolation of the input supply from the output. This allows the creation of an electrical system that is independent from the supply. This has applications where power needs to be taken from a building to a vehicle, for example, outside broadcast vehicles, horseboxes, electric vehicle charging points etc.

The demand for shore power means that larger motor yachts often have dual 32A or even dual 63A shore power sockets. This requires the boat’s internal AC circuitry to be split into two entirely separate groups - normally air conditioning and domestic. But if one circuit tries to pull more than the maximum rating there’s nothing to be done to stop the dockside load circuit breaker tripping, even if the other cord has plenty of capacity left.

The DockPower isolation transformer range from Energy Solutions solves this problem by allowing boat owners to bring two shorepower leads onto a boat and combine them into a single supply to feed all the boat’s loads. The two cords are loaded equally which ensures you get the maximum amount of power on board. Frequency converters have long been the domain of super yachts only. However the ASEA range brings the advantages of shore power conversion to vessels of all sizes. The ability to plug into any shore power supply world wide now exists, at an affordable price, for smaller yachts as well as the traditional superyacht sector.

The ASEA power frequency converters will accept any input voltage between 180 - 520 volts and any input frequency between 45 - 65 Hz. Some units accept both single and three phase whilst others are dedicated (although a single phase unit is quite happy to use 2 of the 3 phases of a 3 phase supply).

ASEA power frequency converters

The unit is completely automatic; simply plug in and the ASEA Power unit will do the rest. The range of static frequency converters are designed to supply high quality, continuous duty sinusoidal power of a fixed frequency and voltage for stable on board power.

They are quiet in operation and maintenance free. Not only will they provide voltage and frequency conversion, but as an additional benefit they offer galvanic isolation and a high level of filtering from transients, spikes and voltage variations from the marina supply.

The cabinets are a mixture of Stainless Steel and marine grade Aluminium powder coated for a long life, fixings are stainless steel.

ASEA uniquely offer 3 different technologies to aid your installation. Their standard range are air cooled with standard frequency power conversion. The HF range use high frequency switching to allow use of smaller magnetic components. These units offer reduced size and weight and are popular with the sail boat market. Lastly liquid cooled versions are offered. These use chilled water from the vessels AC system to cool the unit via a heat exchanger. This reduces local rejected heat and makes installations in tight compartments much more straight forward.

The front panel features a sophisticated control and monitoring station which can be enhanced with an optional remote touch screen user control.

Adaptive 4-stage charge characteristic: bulk - absorption - float - storage. Two full rated outputs and one 4 Amp output. Universal input 90-265V, 50/60Hz. The Phoenix charger features a microprocessor controlled adaptive battery management system that can be preset to suit different types of batteries. The adaptive feature will automatically optimise the charge process relative to the way the battery is being used.

The new Centaur range of battery chargers from Victron Energy have been designed to be a true world-wide product. Universal compliance and input/output specifications are cornerstone characteristics of the new range from the established Dutch manufacturer. Designed to meet the requirements of both CE for Europe and UL for the United States, the Centaur model range features auto-ranging input covering 90-265VAC 50/60Hz input meaning they can be used anywhere in the world.

Crucially, and unlike other products that state universal input, the Centaur range will maintain full output power within the entire specified range. The Centaur model will also work on 90-400VDC input, making it a perfect Charging DC-DC Converter in a Diesel Electric system. Skylla-TG Charger

24 / 48 Volt

One full rated output and one 4 Amp output. Charge voltage can be precisely adjusted to suit any battery system. The input for the charger is 230V at 50/60HZ. Charge voltage can be measured directly on the battery terminals in order to compensate for voltage loss due to cable resistance. An external sensor allows to measure battery temperature and compensate charge voltage accordingly.



24 Volt

The Victron Skylla-TG 24/30 and 24/50 GMDSS Chargers have been designed to provide all required monitoring and alarm data. Both the battery and the GMDSS system are connected directly to the charger. Data and alarms are displayed on a digital panel (VE.Net GMDSS panel, to be ordered separately). A standard eight wire UTP cable connects the charger to the panel.

Water, oil or dirt will not damage the Blue Power IP67 charger. The casing is made of cast aluminium and the electronics are moulded in resin.

  • The tank sender uses a precision pressure transducer to measure the pressure of air trapped in sender body. As the fluid level increases the pressure rises. The unit outputs 0 volts when empty and 10 volts (nominal) when full.
  • The sender can generate an output voltage higher than 10V (100%). The sender can be trimmed to display 100% via a trim pot inside the sender head. This needs to be done with the tank full.
  • Operates from a nominal 24V DC power supply protected by a 3Amp fuse or circuit breaker.
  • More than one meter can be driven from a single sender.
  • Sender can feed standard instrument, PLC or VE.Net module for network applications.

E-Plex technology has been integrated into the Lagoon 560 since inception. Each of the luxury catermerans has the multiplexing technology onboard with two panels; one comprising a touch screen interface that integrates with modules throughout the vessel. The multiplexing modules control and monitor the AC circuits on board including the generator, AC Changeover, AC Distribution. The system also controls the DC power including selected lighting, fridges & pumps.

E-Plex technology allows CNB to install sophisticated monitoring and control systems within their build program quickly and easily.
