Taylor Curtis

Taylor Curtis

Taylor joined Energy in November 2016 as a Production Technician.

In 2018 Taylor became a Service Engineer, after demonstrating an aptitude and interest in this area and has undertaken his HNC in Electrical and Electronical Engineering during his time with the Company.

In 2023 Taylor was rewarded for his hard work when he was promoted into the role of Customer Service Manager, heading up a small team but also still undertaking field service work.

In relation to his role Taylor said:

"Over the past eight years, my journey with Energy Solutions has been both rewarding and filled with growth. I began as an apprentice in the workshop, learning the fundamentals and honing my technical skills. Through dedication and hard work, I progressed to managing a service team, a role that allows me to lead and support others while ensuring a top-quality service delivery.

This journey has not only been a great experience personally but also professionally, as I have witnessed and contributed to the company's expansion. I am excited about the future and look forward to continued growth and opportunities as our company continues to thrive and expand in the many sectors, we are a part of."
Dan Heweyy

Dan Hewett

Dan joined Energy in July 2018 as a Production Technician Apprentice. He has since completed his Engineering Level 4 (Electrical and Electronic) and most recently followed this up by completing his bachelor’s degree course in Manufacturing engineering.

In line with this achievement Dan was promoted into the role of ‘Looming and Engraving Line Leader’ in February 2024.

Dan reflection was:

"Since joining earlier in my career and at multiple milestones in my progression the company have provided me with immense levels of support and investment to ensure i become the best version on myself

I have learnt about the practical side of our projects and also developed, more recently, my project management and team management skills as well as understanding how business and organisations within the industry operate."

Current Vacancies

Purchasing and Inventory Manager (New Hythe)

We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled individual to lead our purchasing and inventory (stores) functions within the Operations team. In this role, you will play a key part in determining procurement strategy, controlling our expenditure, ensuring products/services are obtained efficiently and cost-effectively and developing robust reporting and monitoring systems

Ideally you will be CIPS qualified with more than eight years industry experience, detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data management and preferably a working knowledge of electrical and mechanical components. You will also have experience working with dispatch/inventory business functions.

About Us

Manufactured In the UK

We design and manufacture a wide range of products in our factory in the UK. We have invested in state of the art cable processing machines to allow us to automate many aspects of our production, guaranteeing quality and consistency. Our engineering department use advanced mechanical and electrical design tools to drive this process, and we use computerised testing machines to speed up loom construction and validation. We also have in-house facilities to laser cut and engrave control panels, along with 3D printing for prototyping components. None of this manufacturing would be possible without a skilled team of staff, with years of experience in complex builds.

Partners

We work with leading international manufacturers and distribute their products in order to supply our customers with a complete electrical power, monitoring and control solution. We work with some of the biggest names in each market sector and have established ourselves as a key supplier bringing new ideas and technical updates on a continual basis.

Support

During your project, Energy Solutions will be with you every step of the way, from initial consultation to final implementation. Our engineering team will provide comprehensive drawing packages, both 2D and 3D as appropriate, and will assist during commissioning phases. Post-project, our service team will take over to provide ongoing support in the field.
