Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC Charger
The new Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC charger is designed for use in dual battery systems in vehicles or boats, where the (smart) alternator and the start battery are used to charge the service battery. The model range is suitable for 12V or 24V systems, and both lead-acid and lithium batteries.
This professional DC to DC adaptive 3-stage charger features built-in Bluetooth for easy monitoring and programming.
Why Do We Need Smart DC-DC Chargers?
Battery-to-battery (or DC-to-DC) chargers take the highly variable voltage output from sources like smart alternators and boost or reduce it to maintain a stable voltage output according to a multi-stage charging profile. This process ensures a safe, controlled, and fast charge for your auxiliary battery, similar to how a mains charger operates.
Using the correct lithium battery charging solutions ensures system safety and efficiency in any given setup.

Manufactured In the UK
We design and manufacture a wide range of products in our factory in the UK. We have invested in state of the art cable processing machines to allow us to automate many aspects of our production, guaranteeing quality and consistency. Our engineering department use advanced mechanical and electrical design tools to drive this process, and we use computerised testing machines to speed up loom construction and validation. We also have in-house facilities to laser cut and engrave control panels, along with 3D printing for prototyping components. None of this manufacturing would be possible without a skilled team of staff, with years of experience in complex builds.
