Mark Penny is appointed Chief Commercial Officer

Energy Solutions is pleased to announce that Mark Penny has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer with immediate effect.

His new position will be fundamental in facilitating and shaping the progression of Energy Solutions and a natural, highly commended succession from his previous role as Commercial Manager.

Mark Penny has been instrumental in the sales growth within the Hybrid sector, working closely with UK OEMs and construction equipment rental companies, assisting in the development of products and strategies to tackle generator/power generation emissions in applications as diverse as land-based temporary power, off-grid power, marine and specialist vehicle power.

With a comprehensive understanding of market conditions, industry trends and business operations, Mark has also worked closely with leading industry associations making recommendations to the Government on Policy concerning Air Quality around construction sites.

Mark joined Energy Solutions in 2008 and is a much-admired team member. Following a successful career in Investment Banking, he made the move into the manufacturing industry. This background has given Mark a solid financial and analytical understanding which is advantageous when making commercial decisions across the business.

With a keen interest in sailing, when away from the office Mark regularly competes in dinghy racing having competed Nationally and in Europe.

About Us

Manufactured In the UK

We design and manufacture a wide range of products in our factory in the UK. We have invested in state of the art cable processing machines to allow us to automate many aspects of our production, guaranteeing quality and consistency. Our engineering department use advanced mechanical and electrical design tools to drive this process, and we use computerised testing machines to speed up loom construction and validation. We also have inhouse facilities to laser cut and engrave control panels, along with 3d printing for prototyping components. None of this manufacturing would be possible without a skilled team of staff, with years of experience in complex builds.

We work with leading international manufacturers and distribute their products in order to supply our customers with a complete electrical power, monitoring and control solution. We work with some of the biggest names in each market sector and have established ourselves as a key supplier bringing new ideas and technical updates on a continual basis.

Support

During your project, Energy Solutions will be with you every step of the way, from initial consultation to final implementation. Our engineering team will provide comprehensive drawing packages, both 2D and 3D as appropriate, and will assist during commissioning phases. Post-project, our service team will take over to provide ongoing support in the field.
